MERCEDES-BENZ SLS | HAMANN Tuning

Mercedes made a strong statement when introducing the SLS in 2009. It was the first car developed by the own AMG performance brand. And challenge enough for the traditional refiner HAMANN to further refine this luxury super sports car. The result convinces with exclusive aerodynamics parts, strong sport springs, a well-sounding sports exhaust system, and unique wheel/tyre combinations. With these refinements, HAMANN’s SLS becomes a true dream car.

Whether with the big “Hawk” body kit or with individual elements in visible carbon fibre – the aerodynamics attachments from HAMANN turn the SLS Coupé and Roadster into a revolutionary unique piece. Carbon in black or checkered flag is available for mirror trims, the new front grille panel, bonnet with power dome and additional air intakes, and roof scoop derived from GT sport. If desired, HAMANN also installs the extendable rear spoiler in visible carbon fibre or even a fixed five-part rear wing for a super sports finish.

All this goes very well with an appropriate lowering thanks to progressive springs, that lower the Mercedes-Benz SLS by around 30 mm at the front and rear. Those wanting a variable solution can opt for a coil over to individually define rebound and compression for road or racing track. To round off sound and look HAMANN has developed a sports muffler with four pipes. The stainless-steel tailpipes with a diameter of 90 mm are available in mirror polished or black powder coated designs.

For the Mercedes SLS HAMANN offers an ultra-light forged wheel: the “Edition Race Anodized” comes with a classic cross-spoke design with black rim spider, titanium bolts, and high-gloss polished rim flange. The exclusive design consists of nine main spokes, with each of them branching into two spokes to the outside – a unique sports wheel. HAMANN delivers it together with suiting high-performance tyres.

For the interior, the refiner has realized even more ideas with its 28-part visible carbon fiber kit. High-quality panels available in all colors enhance for example air vents, steering wheel spokes, center console and door handles. Door sills made of visible carbon and leather with embroidered HAMANN logo are the perfect match here.

A set of tailored pearl velour floor mats and alloy applications for the pedals complete the interior design. And a true eye-catcher are the car door LED welcome projector lights with the HAMANN emblem that make the access to the car more comfortable. All the highest-quality design accessories are handmade. HAMANN refines the cars at the company’s headquarters in Laupheim as well as at international partner sites.
